"World Keeps Sinking is Northless' most ambitious album to date. World Keeps Sinking is a skulking, heavy, and calculated exercise in sheer brutality. World Keeps Sinking features seven new songs that run the gamut of styles when it comes to underground metal. Northless employs the use of doom metal, sludge, and post metal, which translates remarkably well to a cohesive approach in creating a truly heartwrenching and visceral album's worh of material. The standout track of the whole album is the fitfth song entitled Passage. This behemoth of a song runs over fifteen minutes in length and shows Northless adding melody to their sound, which is a departure of sorts for the band's usual heavy doom influenced sound. Vocals continue to be of the strained variety, which further compliments the band's dark and gloomy sound. Overall, World Keeps Sinking is a phenomenal album. Seriously, I can't begin to describe how good this album is."
