v/a "Making children's songs a threat again!" LP

"guerilla shooting" is a french DIY label and we did an international anarcho-punk LP compilation ABOUT and FOR children with SUGAR PIE KOKO (swe); ZANUSSI (spa); POWER OF IDEA (jap); GRIDE (cze); DISARM (ita); KARST (usa); JINN (uk); STRACONY (pol); MIGRA VIOLENTA (arg); BETERCORE (ntl); INERTIE (fra); THE DAGDA (irl); ZEGOTA (usa) and a spoken word (Elo / 2O min of chaos's singer). Booklet with interviews, texts and communication… WHY THIS PROJECT ? A compilation about, and for, children What is childhood? A concept created by a society that classifies, organizes, dissects? A transition before a real status, before maturity? The division of life between child and adult is making as much sense as the division of it between humans and animals. There is no borders, no frontiers (the "biological" passing of puberty is, for me, not important enough to justify classification, grading between human being). What is a child? What is an adult I don't know. And, like all other segregation, I don't care. The only thing that is important for me is the little person that grows up at my side, and to whom I have the absolute duty to teach freedom. Our speeches, our words, our lyrics, our songs, our images, are often not accessible for these little humans. I don't want her to believe that our world isn't talking to her. I don't want her to see "grown-ups", "adult" listening to their music, read their zines or books. I don't want her to think that the words she ears about freedom, feminism, anarchy, ecology, are only for "adult.I want her to know that all this words, ideas are the ones of humans, all humans. So they are her too. Just some room in our fight, and our revolts for this other humans that are the children around us, this is what motivates this project.
